The 'Acupressure 1 day workshop for midwives, doulas and reflexologists is designed to provide a competency-based training in the use of specific acupressure points to complement their existing skills. The workshop is for health professionals with no previous TCM or acupressure training and is 7 hours duration of face-to-face theory and practical. The 1 day workshop is based on Debra Betts work and Lyndall & Bernadette have permission to conduct the workshops in Australia. The workshop includes location of 10 acupressure points useful in the antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal period, and the points indication and application.

A major component of the the workshop is how to engage the woman's partner or support persons in using the acupressure points to assist the woman.

A Certificate of Attendance and a competency assessment sheet is provided at the completion of the workshop. The workshop attracts 7 CPD points for Professional Registration. >
